Centrum Cyfrowe (Digital Center) asked us to prepare a digital campaign entitled Treat Yourself. Collections of Warsaw Cultural Institutions Online, which aimed to promote the digital collections of selected Warsaw institutions such as the National Museum or the National Digital Archives. Many of the works in their collections are resources in the public domain or shared under one of the Creative Commons licenses. Our goal was to encourage Varsovians to play with digital collections of local museums, archives and libraries and to use them freely. The campaign took place in social media as well as cinemas and public transport in Warsaw.

Six Warsaw cultural institutions took part in the compaign: the National Museum, dLibra Digital Archive, Museum of Warsaw, History Meeting House, National Digital Archives and the Jewish Historical Institute.
We were supposed to create at most three animations with accompanying promotional materials. Each animation is a collage of two carefully selected works of art from the collections of two different entities mentioned above. Thanks to this, each institution promotes both its own collection and the one of the other accompanying institution. In this way it became more intriguing and thus we encouraged the public to take active part in the campaign by recognizing the work of individual collections. Creating collages we chose objects that were distinct enough for each institution to be easily identified.
